[solved] Divisi issues

I’ve watched the video on how to do divisi, and I must be doing something wrong:

My ‘cellos are divided into a solo cello and two sections of ensemble. (Three separate staves.) Everything looks fine. Two questions: (Dorico 5 Pro, using NotePerformer.)

  1. Why does a pizz. direction affect all three staves, not jut the one it is on? I want one staff pizz. and the other two arco. It won’t let me.
  2. Why does the solo staff sound like ensemble instead of like a solo? (I did select the single-player icon when creating it.) And how can I make it sound like a solo?

You need to enable Independent Voice Playback. and manually change one Cello channel to solo in NotePerformer. Dedicate one voice in your score to your Solo (ie that voice must not be used by other cellos).
