[Solved] Download Cubase 8 with a download Manager

My internet speed is… well garbage… about 200kbps in the best scenario, I’m trying to download Cubase 8 (9GB) from “my steinberg” but I’m getting a Network error after some time (I use chrome if this is important)

Can I download C8 from a ftp server or other place where I can use a download manager so I can resume if the connection gets lost?

Steinberg’s support recommended using
http://files.freedownloadmanager.org/lite/fdminst-lite.exe
to me today.

Didn’t use it.
I used Chrome browser instead with my PC power options set to “Never Sleep”

The link died at 56% but Free Download Manager resumed the file with the new url! great!
