[SOLVED] Glue Tool Does Not Work - Version 1.8

Hello Cubasis Team & Users:

The Glue tool is not working for me. (Cubasis 1.8 on Ipad 3 running IOS7)

I did not see this problem listed under “Known Issues.”

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

it works with midi but not for audio here…iPad Air all latest software

the glue tool ONLY works with MIDI and not with audio files.

Why, actually, is this so? It’s nice to be able to glue any track, containing MIDI or Audio parts, especially if you are copying or “cutting” a track, another way than it was recorded ?

Is this in consideration for an update?

As much as I use this tool in Cubase, why is this such a difficult concept and a seemingly unachievable goal in Cubasis? It really throws a lot of things out of whack, especially if you want to permanently paste little snippets of sound together.

Can you guys give me an alternate workaround for this problem? I use this so much, I’m at a loss as to how to proceed.

Freeze your track ( use the freeze track button ) and all little snippets of sound are together in one audio file.
Mixdown is also possible…; destructive glueing is only possible with midi tracks in cubase and cubasis.

As much as I use this tool in Cubase, why is this such a difficult concept …

Your talking about non destructive audio glueing in cubase,
destructive audio glueing isn’t possible in cubase same as in cubasis.

Non destructive audio file glueing is on our future feature request list.
