Is there a way when I do a punch in that it overwrites my artist mistake that I’m correcting… Because right now I’m doing a punch in fine but during play back I hear the mistake play along with the corrected punch in and I have to go and trim out the mistake which makes the punch in more time consuming.

As of yet, audio cycle recordings in Cubasis works similar to a looper.
In other words, previous tracks are audible when recording new cycles.
It might be possible that we change this behaviour in a future update.
