[SOLVED] How to create my own template?

can’t find a direct way to creating own templates? can work around by using snapshots of an already setup project?

Hi mm70,

Using the “snapshot” function is somewhat similar to the included Cubasis factory templates.

“Snapshots” create a version of a project in a specific state, which will not be altered or overwritten.
Tapping a snapshot leads to loading a new project with the exact state of the snapshot.

Please find more details about the topic in the MediaBay chapter of the Cubasis in-app help.

Hope that helps.,

Best,
Lars

got it thanks!

Thanks for the update, mm70.
Glad to hear the solution works for you.

Lars

this is NOT solved as you marked it. this is just a workaround that demands strict attention not to overwrite the “original snapshot” - which would not be the issue with a dedicated template…

Hi mm70,

Thanks for your message.

Snapshots can not be overwritten.
Instead, a new project based on the state of the snapshot will be created, when a snapshot is double tapped.

In other words, a snapshot is pretty similar to a template (with the addition, that snapshots can be deleted at the user’s request).

Best,
Lars
