[SOLVED] Incredibly slow HALion installation

Disk 1 for Dorico installed quite quickly. Disk 2, installing HALion is going VERY slowly. It says “Copying new files” and the task manager says that it is using less than 1% of CPU, 29Mb of memory and disk traffic seems to be stuck at 0%.

Help? If I wait long enough, will something happen?

It took nearly an hour before the progress bar got to about 10%. Then the installer suddenly announced that it had finished and Dorico worked. So, if it takes a long time, don’t despair.
