Guys, I solved my original issue around having your mixer showing and keeping open, multiple sections, between project restarts etc. I learnt something else too, really important.
In the mixer, if you have everything open - max view, you will find that, top down., the different sections of the mixer give different right click menus. Right click on the top and you get a familiar menu (I guess), but if you go a little down, and click on “Routings” area button, next you find a short menu with:
- Expand Sections Exclusively
- Set up sections
The top item is the one I sought. This toggle is really useful and should never be forgotton!
Tip: I discovered that it’s also really educational to realise, that as we right click down a channel, we encounter about six different menus. Going through these menues, at least once, relaxed and absorbing. Is well worth doing. A lot of project zone stuff is hidden there.
