SOLUTION: TURN OFF ASIO GUARD IN THE STUDIO SETUP SETTINGS

Hi, I believe Cubase 12 pro has a probelm with Vienna Ensmble pro 7. I set up an FX bus using VEpro7. When I used that bus on a track in Cubase 12 pro, if the FX bus track is not chosen, the signal has bad distortion.

I then tested this in Cubase 11 pro and it works just fine.

If I select the FX bus track it will play normal. Currently the other option is to turn on monitoring on the FX bus and then it will work normal. I will write VSL to notify them of this issue.

did you uncheck Asio Guard on the Pluguin Manager?

Falvius, I went into studio setup and unchecked the ASIO guard and it’s working now.
