(SOLVED) Latest Update Problem (yet again!)

I’ve just updated my CUBASIS to 3.7.8 and I’ve got the same problem I had on a previous update.

Basically I can no longer record audio via USB from my Yamaha Montage. I’ve changed none of the settings on my Montage but now can no longer record audio I can play audio back from CUBASIS and monitoring it on my Montage so the USB connection is good

This happened a few updates ago and eventually was sorted I’m just getting fed up of problems keep arising from new updates. I suppose the answer would be just keep version I’ve got!

Please can you help/advise

I’ve just tried my Roland Duo Capture EX directly connected to my iPad - CUBASIS and NO audio going to CUBASIS

I’ve used this audio interface many times and have never had a problem until a new update throughs a spanner in the works!

Please advise as I’m in the middle of recording a project

Thanks for your message.

We’re currently unaware of any audio-related recording issues introduced in the recent Cubasis update. In fact, I’ve just recorded tracks using an Apogee Duet with Cubasis 3.7.8 on an iPad mini Gen 6, where everything worked smoothly.

If you’re experiencing problems, please try the following steps:

  • Close all apps, including Cubasis.
  • Fully shut down your iPad and restart it.

After restarting, does everything work as expected when launching Cubasis with an empty project?

Additionally, please check the connection and setup between your iPad and the Yamaha Montage to rule out any external issues.

Thanks for coming back to me ….

I’ve hopefully managed to sort out the issue of my Audio recording problem.

For some reason the mic setting on my iPad had been turned off and this then stops any audio coming in via USB???

Took me some time to find this out over the weekend, bit of a strange one !
