Hi,
I’m running N5.5 on a powerful W7 machine.
It seems that the process VideoEngineMonitor.exe*32 keeps crashing.
Question 1 = anyone know what the “*32” stands for in the process name - should it be *64 since I’m running 64bit ?
Question 2 = any other thoughts ?
THANKS.

The video engine is still 32bit, because the Apple programmers haven’t yet learned how to code for Windows in 64bit, and Quicktime comes from Apple.

Ah thanks for that information.
No worries there then.
I’ve narrowed it down to Audio Ease. If I kill it, the system come to life again.
I was using jBridge with AE but it doesn’t seem to cope.

You have to disable Quicktime in Altiverb.
That is the problem.
AudioEase is aware of it.

Thanks Fredo!
I’ve run the ‘disable’ script in the Altiverb director.
Its been crashing for months, I’m hoping that fixes it.
