Solved: Odd spacing in multi-bar rest

Anyone know what’s going on here?

This is a handbell part score. No changes. Not from XML import. I can use note spacing to correct this, but I shouldn’t have to. And if I make changes to the number of resting bars, the spacing returns.

No manual system breaks, no other manual spacing changes. There’s plenty of space remaining in the system, according to the note spacing dialog box.

Thoughts?

You’ve set “Voice starts” at the beginning of bar 5, or you’ve Removed Rests for bars 1-4 - same result either way.
Leave a single voice present and the spacing will correct itself.

I won’t take you up on that, because you were! For some reason the first 4 bars didn’t have bar rests. Thanks!!
