[SOLVED] record enable selected tracks

I am having an issue with the setting for Record Enable/Disable For Selected Tracks. Does not matter how you set it up it always enables record when you select a track. This bug has been around since the first Cubasis or am I doing something wrong. Can someone shed some light on this please.

Hi Muzomart,

Cubasis offers a preference to set the behavior at your liking.

  • Please go to Setup/Arranger
  • Set “Arm Selected Track” at your wish

Arm Selected Track
If enabled, selecting a track will automatically enable recording on it and vice versa. Manually armed tracks will not be influenced by this.

Best,
Lars

Hi Lars not sure if I explained myself correctly for you to answer. What I mean is in the settings you point out if you deselect to arm the tracks automically in other words everything is not record enabled but mine still arms the track even though I’ve got it turned off. If I set it to on every track I touch goes into armed record as you would expect. Turn it off and still arms the touched tracks. I hope that makes sense now. Thanks

UPDATE: Since I posted back to you I have reinstalled Cubasis and it seems ok now. Except that when opening any project one track is armed even though it’s saved with all tracks unarmed. But the setting for arm selected tracks seems to work now.

Hi Muzomart,

Thanks for the update!
Glad to hear reinstalling Cubasis helped to solve the problem!

Best,
Lars
