[SOLVED] Saving a Set of Pads

I would like to use the set of Pads built into Cubasis, instead of trying to connect an external app like ChordPolyPad via IAA. (That has not worked so far.)

But I don’t see a way to save a premade set of chords, except with a project. I would like to make a few sets of chords on pads, name them, and save them for future use and load them into a project. Is there a way to do this?

Hi gmpolin,

Thank you for your message.

Pad settings are saved with the project per track.
Please use the “Pad mapping copy & paste” feature transfer your favorite drum and chord pad mappings to other tracks of the same or a different project:

Steps

  • Select the MIDI track which houses the individual Pad mapping you’d like to transfer
  • Open the Pad window, tap the “EDIT” button followed by the “COPY ALL” button (to copy the settings to the clipboard)
  • Select the source MDI track, open the Pad window and tap the “PASTE ALL” button

Hope that helps!

Best wishes,
Lars

I will post again about how to use something like ChordPolyApp, where I can save a set of chords to be used again and again.

Replied to it as well…

Best,
Lars
