[SOLVED] Sequencer

Hi there,

I’m not understanding the piano roll .
If I loop record and overdub midi, in the main timeline I’m able to move the separate takes, but when I open a part in the editor I’m only able to Se the notes for the last take?

Hi Lordgiffnock,

Edits in the MIDI editor are possible for a selected event only.

How can I select the first pass when a part is layered on top? I only can get the final loop of midi notes to show in the piano roll editor

Hi Lordgiffnock,

I’d suggest to do the following:

Choose the “Select” tool from the sub menu bar
Make a selection of the parts that are overlayed and tap “Glue”

Afterwards the layered parts are combined to a single part, that can easily edited in the editor.
