(SOLVED) SKI remote 1.1 not working with latest Cubase IC Pro (1.31)

Cubase 15 (latest update), Bonjour installed. Windows 11 and Windows 10 systems. All enabled in Cubase. Connects and then freezes on start up on iOS 26 and iOS 18 devices. Tried temporarily disabling firewall.

Any ideas what the issue is. It used to work years ago. Does the SKI Remote need updating Steinberg? The latest version goes back 4 years!

Solved: you have to remove the VPN app on your device or anything that includes a VPN such as Norton 360. Disabling the VPN doesn’t seem to fix it (Apple don’t seem to like VPNs) You’d think Steiny would have got round this by now.

Presubably you are now sharing all your usage data with Steiny
