Hi all,
I’m trying to use Slate Digital’s Virtual Mix Rack (VMR) on a drum bus (“group track”), but it doesn’t work. There’s no input activity on VMR’s meters. Adjusting the VMR settings has no effect on audio.
However, when I drag the VMR plugin to an audio track, everything works as expected. Drag it back to the drum bus (or any group track or output) and it goes silent again.
Any ideas? Workarounds?

Windows 10 64-bit w/ latest updates. VMR is also up to date. I’ve tried dozens of modules and combinations and they all behave the same way.
Project is new, though I’ve been using a template. The template is new - created in Cubase 9. I’ll give it another go without the template.

Woops! DFU Error. 
For the record, I was using my “surround” template which has 5.1 channels on all of my busses. Must remember to load three instances of VMR - or any stereo plugin, for that matter - to affect all six channels. I was banging on a kick (center channel) and wondering why VMR (L/R channels) wasn’t responding.
