(SOLVED) Waves Tune RT - Wet / Dry Mix

Hello, everyone!

I finally got a UAD Volt 4 interface to use with my iPad and Cubasis (which I far prefer to Logic on iPad!), and tried the Waves Tune RT plugin for the first time.

However I am finding that I am getting the unprocessed and the processed signal coming through when input monitoring on a track, even when used as an insert. I see no wet/dry mix in the plugin.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Using the latest version (3.7.6?) on iOS.

Thanks,
Lee

Hi @seedylee,

Thank you for your kind message and a warm welcome to the Cubasis forum.

Below are links to our Waves Tune RT tutorial and help documentation, which will hopefully help you use the plug-in the way you have in mind.

You can find many more tutorials related to Cubasis on the same YouTube channel.

Best wishes,
Lars

Thanks for the info! I did find that same video and the Waves guide you linked before posted and went through them agin just to be sure, but I’m still unclear.

In Waves RT, I am getting a mix of wet and dry when using the track in monitor mode, and using the effect as an insert. I can’t see any option to change the wet/dry mix … what am I missing?

Is the direct input monitoring on the interface enabled?

Good thinking, @Samuel_Linderman. Though I am confident that wasn’t the case.

I tried it again and didn’t exoerience the same issue, so it may have been operator error, though I did thoroughly check my settings at the time. I will keep an eye on it, but it’s good to know I haven’t missed an obvious wet/dry mix setting somewhere, or some other behaviour of Cubasis with which I am unfamiliar.

Thank you all for chiming in!
