[solved] Where is it ??

I installed the 8.5 update from 8.0.30

I still have VST connect
And cannot see any VST transit Menu …

Where is it ?

Is there a special installer that I missed ?

The same thing seems to be happening to me: There is no entry “VST Transit” in the VST Cloud menu.

@Spork: My dongle is blue.

I downloaded the full Version of Cubase Pro 8.5 from the “MySteinberg”-page, since the installation of the Update-File didn’t work - it stopped saying that there were corrupt CRC files. The Installation of the full version worked without a problem.

The only thing is, that the VST Transit won’t show up, see the screenshot in the jpg- file.


… are you running “Cubase Pro 8.5” or “Cubase Artist 8.5”?
… is your elicenser database up-to-date? (http://www.elicenser.net/en/home.html)

I’m runnig Cubase Pro 8.5 and - yes - my elicenser database is up-to-date.


can you please check if the VST Transit component is available on your system?
Win64 : C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\Shared Components\vsttransit.dll
Win32 : C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Steinberg\Shared Components\vsttransit.dll


PS : Are you running Win32 or Win64?

I’m running the 64-Bit-Version, so I had a look at the suggested folder: No VST-Transit there!

You’ve downloaded the full Version from MySteinberg? Ok, we’ll investigate that.
Meanwhile get the latest installer for VST Transit

You have to talk with your Steinberg-Contact Person. You need an extra licence for your red dongle to run VST Transit.
