SOLVED: Why is this happening?! Edited Selection Un-Selects

Cubase 9.5.20
I have an Audio track with edits.
I ‘Select All Events’.
I press play.
All events are no longer selected. Only the one where the Locator is currently playing.

This was not happening in any previous version and I can’t locate an Option in Preferences.
Is there one?
This has taken away a very important function that I use almost every day.

Most likely you have “Auto-Select Objects Under Cursor” activated in Prefs>Editing
