Whenever I open a project in Cubase LE AI Elements 9 I am notified that “Some audio files are missing. Please check your installation” concerning HALion Sonic SE, and I can not get any sound from HALion Sonic SE, unlike from Prologue. How can I fix this so that I can properly explore Cubase during my trial period?

If you still have the installer, try uninstalling Halion Sonic SE and its content, then run the installer again. Make it reinstall everything.
