Some cosmetic workflow impovements

Sorry, I don’t understand what this to do with folders. I mentioned “Collection”. Why you need duplicates in a particular collection. Please read what I wrote already a few times before. Duplicates IN ALREADY EXISTING COLLECTION.

It is obvious that I can have a very very “tubey” compressor in the “Compressor” and “Saturation” collection. Which is fine.

What is that…?

You are right - you asked for duplicates to be avoided in a collection. In the meantime, the discussion went beyond that request as some provided examples that it is helpful to have the same plugin in different folders within one single collection (see examples above).

If I have a plugin that has different use cases I will create folders within the collection, one folder for each use case. I put the same plugin into the collection several times, once for each use case.

Another example: I might have one section the collection to find plugins by function and another section for some favorites. I want the plugin to appear as per its function as well as in my favorites section.

Please don’t blame other users for you not wanting to understand folders in collections.

In my case I would say VERY VERY Important.

that makes sense.

I used this example to demonstrate that a single plugin may have many applications. Satin can be used to add echo, or chorusing, or flanging, or tape artifacts, or tape distortion. One folder isn’t enough.

It’s enough to tell you it’s already in a Collection, so that you don’t add a duplicate.
