I still am not using Cubase for any new projects because of the MAC GUI issue (and others, but that’s the main one)…but on existing projects with video, the new video engine is working well (so far) here on Mac. It imports audio and there is not a big CPU hit that others are having. I hope others find or get a fix for their issues – but I wanted to put a little positivity among the complaints and significant issues I’ve been posting. 
Please post your codec settings,cause doing a MP4 with h264 is not as smooth as before for me,thanks
This is also MP4s with h264. Keep in mind that I’m on Mac, which might be helping (in this ONE case - haha) ? I could be wrong.
