Some insert effects plug ins have dropped into a 'generic' apearence mode after a Cubase update

Cubase 14.0.41 windows 10 (extended) 64 bit

After one of it’s updates (I think 14.0.30) I stumbled across some of my insert plugins have visually resorted to a ‘generic’ mode, i.e. instead of the normal GUI they have gone to a ‘box’ with horizontal value lines and a decimal value for the parameter adjustments.

I so wish that option was there, but no it isn’t - in place of it is the option ‘Allow Window to be Resized’.

Hi,
can you post a screenshot, please? Maybe you are looking at the wrong spot.

A combination is also possible, but the editor switchover is always visible (usually).

Maybe a case of a missing resource file?
A deinstall and new install of Cubase might resolve the issue. The deinstallation is important and should not be skipped.

Yes, it makes sense if a file is missing/corrupted due to a Cubase ‘update’ in which it may be re-instated with a fresh install - why do too many have to go through ‘DYI fix-its’ such as this after ‘update improvements’ ??
