- When changing the lyrics of a song in the score editor then in the step editor, the first text is displayed on the notes.
That is, the text does not change
, but remains as it was originally written. Reloading the project does not help.
The very first text that was written is always displayed. - It is impossible to put a “space” in the text on a single beat. In Russian, there are prepositions that are tied to a vowel
. I can do this with an underscore, but visually, it looks dirty in the notes. It would be nice to add the ability to add a space on a single beat, for example, space+Ctrl.
- To change the barline
, you need to go to the menu, select the one you want, and then click on the desired bar. This is difficult
. In previous versions, it was much easier—double-clicking on the barline brought up a selection menu. - Changing noteheads is a separate and inconvenient quest
. I would really like to see a visual menu when double-clicking on a note.
- When marking P.M. (Palm Mute), it is impossible to draw a dotted line that would mark all the notes for this technique.

clicking on objects to edit them would make things so much easier….
Is there any way you can incorporate an option for freely moving text?
It’s about inserting general information or notes that have nothing to do with the line or note.
The words are stuck to the note. “Space” is the command to move to the next note. But not “space” in the literary edition. That’s the problem.
You should be able to use Shift+Alt+Space (win) or Opt+Space (mac) to create multiple words under a single note, see also Score Editor Manual
