Some MIDI tracks show empty in Score editor

I am on Mac OSX 10.8.3, Cubase 7.03.

Just imported a MIDI file for a Big Band arrangement from Finale. Each instrument on its own channel/track. Plays back great and just need to do some editing.

But on half of the 18 tracks (all MIDI) opening the Score editor only shows empty staves even though there are clearly notes when I look in the other editors. Something in the MIDI data? Settings I don’t know about?

I don’t use the Score editor often but seem to remember that that also occasionally happened in previous Cubase versions. After searching for a cause I finally give up.

Score edit shows the notes only for parts selected in the project page.

In the project page use the glue tool to make sure you have only one part for each track.

There is a bit of a learning curve for Score edit. Read the manual, you won’t be sorry.
