I’ve had “Cubase LE AI Elements 13” for a fair old while now. I don’t use it often, so learning is slow!
Recently (like a couple of weeks) I can no longer access a couple of projects that were started (on the same computer) in June.
Most projects still load absolutely fine. I had a look on the forum for advice and already cleared the preferences, but I still cannot access those projects.
I have not made any system changes, or DAW version changes.
Can anyone offer any insight please?
What exactly do you mean by this? Do you get some kind of error message when you try to open the projects?

the project name is still visible, but the text greyed out.

It’s greyed out in Cubase (Recent Projects?)?
In Cubase, if you go to File->Open, and locate the .cpr file manually, it should open (unless there’s something wrong with the file itself).
You should also be able to open the project directly by just using your (Windows?) file manager to locate the .cpr and double-clicking on it.
If none of that works, I’d check to see if the .cpr file is OK (not size zero bytes). If it seems corrupted, and you have an “Auto Saves” folder, you should be able to open a backup version by changing the extension to .cpr.
No joy. I’m on a Mac Mini (m2, Sequoia 15.6.1).
So initially, the file name appears normally, but clicking it opens an identical finder window, with the file name greyed out.
Going through Cubase or from the folder is the same.
File sizes look about right, too.
OK. I assume the files are actually on your filesystem, and not on iCloud.
If you right-click on the .cpr file and choose “Get Info”, do you see Open with: Cubase xx? If it looks right, try changing it to something else, and then changing it back to your Cubase LE. Then try to open it again with a double-click, or with Cubase.
Just tried it - didn’t work. Looks like I still have Elements 12 installed. Tried with that just in case - same thing - second Finder window opens with greyed out files.
Maybe Cubase has decided they’re not very good songs! 
It sounds like an OS issue, not a Cubase issue–but it’s hard to say. If you aren’t ready to give up on those projects, I’d try moving them to a different location to see if that helps. Do you have all the projects (working and not working) under the same parent folder?
