Some templates record a semitone lower

Cant figure this out. I load a Cubase stock template,such as"Clean E-Guitar+Vocal", load a tuner on an audio track,and my guitar shows as a semitone tuned too low.It isnt.A VST piano also plays a semitone too low. I load an empty project,load a tuner on an audio track,and my guitar shows as in tune.It is.Vst piano also plays in tune.Dont know why this is happening.Thanks for some help.

Hi,

This happens, if your project’s sample rate doesn’t match your audio device sample rate. One if them is 44.1kHz, the other one is 48kHz.

Excellent. That explains why some templates were ok and others were ‘out of tune’… (Of course I looked for a deeper cause for this :blush:)
