I too found the location of tremolo rather confusing.

Just my 2 cents here - I think the ultimate solution would be to implement configurable panels. After all, if you know , for example, that your score does not use fingering, lyrics, or chord changes - then shouldn’y you be able to remove those from the right panel and just display the elements you need? Or if you prefer to see tremolo as a technique (which is where I expected it) - then you should be allowed to do that.

I think implementing a search has been mentioned in another thread? which presumably will list links to the various places where some setting relates to it.
I’ve been doing chord symbols lately - setup (right-click), layout options, engrave options, engrave properties, engrave options>project default appearance. All I think of is chord symbols, and not yet, where whatever I need to do will reside.
And yes, tremolo, repeats etc.
Once I remember sufficiently it will be fine and will probably make sense, but learning a new area of the program is fraught with frustration each time.
