Where the track name is entered in the project window make it possible so that “track name gets VST preset name” as an option.
Like so many others I spend a great deal of time typing in the name of a track so that it corresponds with an instrument. For example Omnisphere has patch names like Phlutterphase Hang, or SID in the water amp or flies attacking monkeys. Its tedious to type in hundreds of these.
If they just appeared somehow below the track name, we would all know where we stand and would no longer need to constantly check we loaded the right patch. With a toggle option they could also be the formal track name.
