Without fail, something keeps sending my Expression CC11 down to 6 (hovers around this figure anyway). It still happens without any MIDI keyboards or controllers turned on as soon as I stop recording. It also happens randomly with MIDI keyboard turned on, even when not recording. Very irritating when you’re trying to get on with something. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Hi,
Do you use the loopBe or other loop MIDI software by any chance?
Thanks for your reply Martin. I don’t use loopBe (never heard of it). I can’t think of any other third party MIDI software I use in Cubase. Just a bunch of plugins and VI’s, sample libraries etc.
My main keyboard is a Nord Stage 2, but I think that only requires the Nord Sound Manager software, which is never open. Other than that, just Yamaha MIDI driver for a Reface CS.
Hi,
Have you tried to restart Cubase or disable the preferences, please?
Which preferences are you referring to? It’s been going on for a while so there’s been many restarts, even a mini update as well probably
Hi,
I mean the whole Cubase preferences. You can do so from the Cubase Safe Start Mode.
Do you have any other MIDI Controllers connected. I have a cheep-ass Korg NanoKontroler that was stealth changing values because its knobs would jiggle around. Does the problem exist if all your MIDI Controllers are physically disconnected?
