I downloaded Sonalksis gain plugin to get a gain plugin in Cubase to automate but I immediately noticed as weird behavior in automation view. The control I’m automating for gain in the plugin doesn’t show up as db but a scale from 0 to 100, it never prints out gain in db so it’s pretty much useless for anything precise. The same thing happens with another free gain plugin from blue cat. Why the heck is this? It only has affected these plugins and no others as far as I’ve found so far anyway.
