Song End / Stop

I have set the End Marker in Tracks and set in preferences Song End Type to Stop. I do not know, what I’m duing wrong, but the song doesnÄt stop when it reaches the End Marker. Any idea what I’ve forgotten to get this work?

Need to set condition too

  • at last event end or
  • at end locator
    Can you check this?

Thanks. I’ve found it. But now I’m wonderig, what the preference Song End Type is good for?

Then that doesn‘t work. I had to set it explicity as Song Action.

Each Song remembers its dedicated Song End Action, of course.
But when you add a Song, the Default Song is loaded; if you ever saved a Default Song, it will override that.

Maybe it’s stupid and we should remove it? Less is more…

If “default is competing with an another default”,
Maybe u’re right, “less is more”, good idea :slight_smile:

Please don’t remove the Default Song - I’ve just realised how useful it can be.
Stop at end of song should be the default, in my mind.

I think @musicullum is rather felt the “preference for def song end” as an option for remove

Default is continue, because that’s what every other DAW does and it’s the least ‘invasive’ option.
So yes, creating a default Song is recommenden for this, and various other purposes.
