What needs to be done to prevent the text from overlapping?

I think we need a little more information in order to tell what’s causing this. Can you at least post a screenshot in Engrave mode showing the whole system and the system fullness indicator on the right? Or can you post your project file here, or a cut-down version that has maybe just this page?

Is the “-ing” lyric definitely attached to the triplet quaver position? It looks like it might not be rhythmically assigned to the triplet rhythm correctly.

“pho” needs a hyphen, not an extension line.
It’s still showing a line. “Photographs” is all one word.
