I use songs (media projects) across different VST Live projects. If I add notes to a song (media project) in one VST Live project. Then import the same song (media project) into a different VST Live project the notes do not come with it and have to be recreated.
It seems that the notes are saved at a project level and not a song (media project) level.
I have used the ‘Save’ feature to back up the notes but have found that any images used in the notes also are not saved. If I load the notes in to the song (media project) that was imported into another project only an image not found icon appears.
I also back up my songs (media projects) and have had to re-import them into a new project from time to time. Doing so at the cost of having to re-created the notes manually after the fact. So frustrating.
The song notes for a song (media project) should be saved in it’s entirety to the song (media project) not the VST Live project.
