Sonic play stand-alone faves not porting

just curious… i favorited some patches in the standalone and when i loaded it into cubasis , they weren’t there.

you would think the faves would be in the same internal sonic ecosystem … and not in the cubasis .

not really an issue i guess as it will be used primarily in its plugin form.

I have also found this same mistake in marking loads of presets as Favourites in the stand-alone version and then discovered they are not there in Cubasis 3, but I have already reported this a couple of weeks ago, hopefully it will be put right :crossed_fingers:

Hi all,

Technically, it is not possible to sync favorite presets between an AUv3 plug-in and the built-in Cubasis instrument version of the same instrument for now.

As a workaround, you have two options:

  • Create and manage your favorites in the standalone/AUv3 versions of the instruments (Verve, Etude, HALion Sonic Play, Iconica Sketch) and then use the AUv3 plug-in versions inside Cubasis.
  • Or maintain two separate favorites lists: one in the standalone/AUv3 version and another in the built-in Cubasis instrument version.

While this requires a bit of extra management, it is currently the only way to keep favorites organized across both instrument types.
