“Sorry, connection failed. Make sure both sides use the same up-to-date version”

Me and my collaborator are running the exact same latest versions of: Cubase 11.0.41, Connect SE and Performer - It used to work like a charm before updating - But now we can’t connect/sync the two systems! Message: “Sorry, no reply from friend make sure both sides use the same up-to-date version” - But as said…we are running the exact same updated versions.

  • We also tried to disable antivirus but still the same message.

Anyone with good advice or solution? :slight_smile: :upside_down_face:

Just tried to connect - and today it works fine :slight_smile: Don’t know what the problem was…maybe a server-issue, a glitch or a temporarily bug? We didn’t change anything - But anyways its working again here :+1: :grinning:

I am having the same problem. Nuendo 11.0.41, VST Connect Pro 5.5.20, and Performer 5.5.10.

This can have many reasons. Do you still have that problem when trying again? Make sure to have no so called “Network Security” software or the likes active, which may block necessary traffic for connecting.
