Hi Forum, when I’m using Cubase the sound starts to break up and eventually cuts out altogether. The crackling seems to build up whether in use or not, then it goes mute. I’ve found that by closing the project and opening it again that this cures the problem. It doesn’t look very professional in front of a client though. Do you think that this is just a faulty sound card? It’s an Audigy, quite old but it never gives me any trouble apart from this. It’s Cubase 5, but there’s more activity on this site. Regards, Barry.
Have you tried raising the latency?
