Using Element 10 on a new Asus All-in-One PC. Closed everything but Cubase. Guitar records fine. Mic waveform is there, but the sound cuts in and out and back in. I am a Cubase newbie, so I haven’t played with any of the setting. Help!
Check to see if you have a VST like a gate or limiter active on the audio track or on the main stereo out channel. This may have happened especially if you used a Cubase template to create your project as some of the templates have these VSTs already loaded.
