Sound Design books and graduate courses.

Hello!
I would like your opinions on:
-Where are the best sound design courses carried out?
-What do they include in their programs? (Any URL or course outlines would be greatly appreciated)
-What books or guides are used in these courses?

Reason:
I thought about studying sound design outside my country (Chile) but I don’t have the time or the money. I’m a civil industrial engineer that loves to make music and sound, so I thought about replicating all the courses necesary to becoming a sound designer for myself, not professionally of course since I just want to “fill the gaps” regarding sound design knowledge, This is just for personal gain, I’m not about to take anybodies sound design jobs. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for all the info!

Irregular - This link is to a series of articles on sound design. It’s not a course per se, and it’s just the basics - I get the feeling that you are likely beyond that stage, so please accept my apologies if that is so!

Best wishes -

Whoa! Thanks Alexis!
No apologies needed, I like this a lot.

De nada, senor!

:stuck_out_tongue:
So… anymore information about courses and books?

You read all that SOS already :astonished: :open_mouth: :sunglasses:

Well I’ve done that. I’m more interested in opinions and books used in courses actually.
