My MacBook pro M1MAX keeps making no sound after updating to MacOS 14.7.1. I have to reboot the machine.
Does anyone else have this problem?
And after rebooting you have sound again?

Yes!
This is a routine of newer MacOSes.
The upgraded versions of MacOS do not have this problem.
The updated versions around the next upgrade do have such problems. macOS 12.6.9, 12.7 and 13.5 audio stability?
And there is no way to report the problem to Apple…
I haven’t had any problem of this kind in any update to Sonoma on my M2 Pro Mini.
You can report to Apple through the Feedback pages on their site. Alternatively, you can use the Feedback Assistant app, which should be in:
/System/Library/CoreServices/Applications/Feedback Assistant.app
