Well, sometimes everything works fine, and sometimes there is sound in the mixer, i.e. the piano keys play the sound, but when I switch to another mode I get nothing. I have tried apply default playback template but it doesn’t fix this.
Any suggestions?
Just a wild guess… are you using P to play from selection, in write mode…?
Yes, I’m using P and it will, when things aren’t working, scroll through the notes with no sound.
When this goes wrong, does it work again if you close the score and re-open it?
Sometimes, and sometimes I have to restart the computer.
There are some changes in the forthcoming update which may help this, as we found a number of cases where the internal IDs of the plugins weren’t being set correctly.
