Hello everyone. I found a problem that I try to explain: while I was inserting the notes for a tenor part with MIDI I noticed that the notes sounded an octave lower than when I listened to them in playback. Can anyone tell me what this strange behavior depends on?

There are some remaining issues with instruments where an expression map that specifies an octave transposition in playback is used, but is not respected during MIDI input. This is a complex area but one that we will return to in due course.
