Sound on in Write mode / No sound in Play mode

Hello,

I’m experiencing a bit of a weird problem. I couldn’t find any related topics here, hope someone here may have an idea why this is happening-
After I assign instruments to the channels in play mode, I can hear the notes when I am in write mode but, when I switch to play mode to hear the playback, there is no sound.

I’m a pretty new user, though used the software before this never happened to me. Maybe I accidentally changed something in the setting somewhere? Or could this be something else? I did update the latest version a month ago.

Any ideas?

What if you (after swiching to Play Mode) choose from the menu Play > Apply Default Playback Template? Still no sound on playback? Also, could you please post a small demo project which exhibits the problem?

I still don’t know what caused the problem… but today it worked perfectly fine.
