I am working in 12/8 and have created a pattern sounding 12 beats with 1 4 7 10 stressed 1 and 7 stronger.
But I cannot seem to engage it.
I have added 12/8 as the time signature but the default pattern is no use to me. 12 beats without a break is too much.
Any advice?

In the Metronome Setup > Click Patterns setup your own pattern for 12/8.
