Source Code Pro font

Wille looking to make some mods to Bravura locally (thicker tenutos that one can actually see…) I observe that there is a very complete full installation of the Adobe font Source Code Pro installed. What does Dorico use that for?

Signposts, for starters. And staff labels in galley view.

And the Script Console, perhaps?

And comments.

I think Source Code Pro is used only for the Script Console window by default. Source Sans Pro is used as the default font for the user interface on macOS (though Dorico uses Segoe UI on Windows because Windows’s auto-hinting for PostScript-based OpenType fonts is poor, meaning that Source Sans Pro looks worse on non-high pixel density displays on Windows than Segoe UI does).
