Hi- I’m new to Source Connect and have set up tracks for the Talent, Talkback and SMPTE. I’m treating Source Connect as a send in Cubase and have the Talent and Talkback track sends panned left and SMPTE panned right.
All this appears to be working correctly as far as sending- my question is how to monitor the Incoming signal in Cubase? Do I add Source-Connect Link as an insert to an Incoming track and in Source Connect settings assign the Input Link to 2? Or does Source Connect receive the incoming signal and monitor through the Mac system as assigned in the Audiomidi Setup?
I haven’t had an opportunity to test this yet and will have little time before I need to use this so any advice is very appreciated. Thanks in advance!
