Space between three periods and lyric extender lines

Hopefully, everyone will notice the difference:

I think the issue is that the periods are further apart/justified?

Is there a reason for this or a setting to change?

I’ve not yet needed to place an ellipsis in that position. I clearly see the last period of it is underlined by the extender line which seems inappropriate. And, I don’t understand the difference in spacing. Hmmm…

If you don’t find an option, you could add a non-breaking space (Shift+Alt+Space on Windows) after the last period, maybe?

Edit: it works if you enter the ... symbol instead (Alt+0133 on Windows, Unicode U+2026)
