I didn’t find a way to increase the space before the barline. Only this extreme gap if i turn it up to 2 spaces. No changes up till 1.75 spaces. I know…the bar width is pretty tight.
Make sure your system does not get overfilled. Try to keep it under 100%.
Then Dorico can apply your adjustments.

Dorico’s spacing sort of goes haywire when the system is overfilled. You can sometimes apply a Note Spacing Change to a system of slashes in order to fit more on a system without Dorico considering it to be overfilled.
If my default settings give me this with 6 bars in the system…
… then I can apply a Note Spacing Change to get this with 9 bars without the system being considered overfilled:
That said, I still don’t really like the difference in gaps at the beginning and end of the bars with the slashes here, and wish there were options to both space the slashes closer together and add additional space at the end of slash notation bars after the final slash.
