Special D.C. al Coda

I am digitizing an old score that calls for “Scherzo d. C. senza repetizione e poi la Coda.”

Please, I understand it to mean a normal repeat from the beginning of the Scherzo without playing the repeats in the score, then at the end, go to the Coda.

If this is correct, how do I insert this special instruction?

OR, should I just copy the Scherzo and leave out the repeat marks to make it work?

Thanking everyone in advance!

If you’re looking for how to write the text of the D.C.:

If you need correct playback:

Are you looking for Custom Text? If so, you can set that in the Properties Panel.

I opened the Properties Panel but did not see “Repeat Markers” option displayed.

BTW: I need it to function during playback.

Any thoughts? I am using Dorico Pro 5.

Thank you!

You have to have the DC selected in order to show the properties.

I don’t understand exactly what structure you want. So, I can’t really advise further with more info.

See Library>Playback options>Repeats and set the option you require.
