As you are based in the USA, don’t have much knowledge of all the stores, but Micro Center have a custom PC service, they sell all the components and can put a PC together for you same day even. I am sure they have experience for DAW PC’s.
I use the AMD 5950X CPU which is incredible, it doesn’t break a sweat, but now superseeded by 9950X so I would recommend an AMD PC. If you prefer Macs, well, options are limited but you know what you’re getting.
For PC, I recommend couple of NVME drives (more if you can fit in the PC and can afford them), one for OS and applications (1-2TB), the other for say Kontakt libraries and loops (2-4TB).
64GB of RAM, very cheap now so should serve you well for the future. Anything else is optional or preferential, best you think of your requirements, but NVME drives as a minimum as they make a huge difference in loading times.
